Don’t forget, if advertisers are present, there is money to be made. So, many of these sites buy articles, unless they have their own writing staff.
It’s normal to have to approach several websites before you actually get your first buyer. This is just part of doing business, don’t worry about it. Once you’ve got one buyer, keep approaching other websites.
