Inkjet Cartridges Are Widely Used In Home Printers.

by Alisha P Lucas

Buying inkjet cartridges is easy because there are so many available. Just make sure you buy the right ones for your printer. You can find printer ink in most major stores such as PC World and Staples as well as various online stores.

It’s easy to find ink that will work with your printer. All you need to do is know what to look for on your printer and in store. Most modern printers are compatible with various kinds of ink so you will have to consider a few things when you are shopping.

If you follow this guide then you’ll be able to find what inks are suitable for your printer and where to buy them. It can get very confusing when you’re shopping for printer ink because there are so many to choose from and so many different printers available.

The first thing you need to consider is what brand your printer is. Lexmark, Epson and Canon are but a few of the major brands of inkjet printers. You will then need to consider which kind of printer you have. You may have an inkjet printer or a laser printer - they have different cartridges.

Make sure you have all the information such as your printer brand and printer type, before you look for ink. You will have noticed that printer ink is usually separated into two separate forms; one for the black ink and then one for the three primary colours.

Sometimes, depending on the brand of printer you have, you will have to buy three separate blocks for the three primary colours. Tesco are just one of the many stores who supply cheaper cartridges so that you don’t have to buy brand specific printer ink.

It’s really easy to install ink and newer printers make it simple. It doesn’t matter where you buy your printer ink from either. Older printers are a lot more mechanical inside so you may find it harder to install in these compared with newer printers.

No matter what kind of printer you have, it is usually relatively straight forward to install the ink so you shouldn’t have too many problems. A lot of newer printers come with a software package that will explain how to install printer ink and also let you know when you are running low.

Usually you simply open the top of the printer or open the drawer and select the option to install new ink on your PC or on the printer directly - the printer will do the rest. If you need to change the inkjet cartridges in your printer just make sure that you read the manual because if you make a mistake it could cost you a new printer.

You can buy ink cartridge refilling kits from Tesco but they aren’t worth the trouble. They are messy and can be really difficult to use. You’re better off buying new cartridges. Inkjet cartridges can be expensive but make sure you aren’t ripped off. If you spend a lot on ink you should expect high quality with an easy to use system.

A new ink cartridge for a newish printer will probably set you back about 15 GBP and inkjet cartridges will set you back about 25 GBP at least. Anything more and you will have to consider your needs for printing. All in all, finding printer ink that is right for your printer should be easy and it is usually easy to find and easy to use.

Inkjet cartridges are widely available so you should have no problem finding them. You can look in PC World, Staples and even in online stores to find the ones you need. Make sure you do your research though, to ensure that you know how much you will have to pay for ink that is suitable for your printer.
